Our School

Grand View Elementary is located four blocks from the Pacific Ocean in Manhattan Beach, California. The original office, located at 455 24th Street, is pictured at left. Grand View is proud to be the school of origin of Grades of Green, the national student leadership environmental program. Built in 1939 by the Works Progress Administration, our school was renovated in 2000-01, retaining the Streamline Moderne design elements. The 2020-23 renovation project included the demolition of much of the Ladera site.
