Unwanteds In a society that purges thirteen-year-olds who are creative, identical twins Aaron and Alex are separated, one to attend University while the other, supposedly Eliminated, finds himself in a wondrous place where youths hone their abilities and learn magic. Book Spine Poems It’s fun! It’s easy! It makes a bit of a library mess! Oh, well! Select three to six books with titles that inspire your poetic fire. Stack the books flat, one on top of the other, so the spines are visible. Move the books around until you like the way it reads, top to bottom. Write the titles in the diagram the way you want the poem to read, top to bottom. Go over the titles with marker. Shade in each rectangle lightly with a different color crayon to create book spines. In the midst of all this, he was fascinated with solving puzzles and scientific problems. The ideas Albert Einstein (1879-1955) came up with during his childhood as an odd boy were destined to change what we understand about the world around us.
The Boy Who Loved Math At the age of four Paul Erdos (1913-1996) could ask you when you were born and then calculate the number of seconds you had been alive in his head. But he didn't learn to butter his own bread until he turned twenty! Tessellation Art online or with paper.

At the end of the four-part practicum students will earn the privilege of using the library computers by completing a worksheet at home, designed to allow them to demonstrate their awareness of library procedures and their ability to execute simple catalog searches.
