As of November 24, 2020, the fulfillment of library hold requests has been suspended. 4th and 5th grade students may continue to place hold requests through the online hold process as described below. The requests will be filled as soon as possible after winter break. Thank you for your patience.
Grand View Library began checking out books to 4th grade students Friday, 11/6, and will extend the service to 5th grade students Friday, 11/20. We will add more grade levels as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience. 5th grade students will be taught the hold process on 11/17 during their Library Zoom sessions. Here is a video explaining the hold process created by Mrs. Primm, the Library Resource Specialist at Meadows Elementary. The process is the same, just select the Grand View Library Catalog when prompted, rather than the Meadows Library Catalog.
  • Holds may be picked up every Friday from the bench by the GV front office, from 11:15am-12:30pm.
  • Face coverings must be worn. Maintain social distance.
  • Holds will be wrapped to maintain cleanliness and will have the student's name on them.
  • Books may be returned Monday-Friday to the Book Drop outside of the front office between 8:00am-1:00pm.
  • Returned books will be quarantined following American Library Association guidelines and cleaned before being checked out again.
